We take children’s eye care very seriously and recommend that every pre-school child should have an eye examination, as vision develops fast in the early years.
The following services are offered:
- Coloured overlays for dyslexia and specific learning difficulties
- Examination and treatment for squints
- A wide range of children’s frames, many free (with NHS voucher)
Children up to the age of 16 (or 18 if in full time education) are entitled to an eye examination free of charge. Your child does not need to be able to read in order to have a sight test so it is never too early to bring them in for a check up.
